My name is Pranav Mehta and I am rising senior at Klein High School in Spring, Texas. Growing up I have always had a profound passion for the medical field and its various facets, including neuroscience and bioinformatics. I am very interested in pursuing a neuroscience major as I approach my collegiate years.
My responsibilities within the lab include collaborating with post-docs and Ph.D. professionals to curate/develop a database for 600+ neurodegenerative diseases and optimizing research towards disease mechanisms and pathogenic variants. I am also working on producing statistical models for human-mouse gene interactions within Alzheimer’s Disease.
